[Lust] For Yourself

Everyone has had a relationship that leaves you barren, starving for something that the other could not offer. It’s the relationship that leaves us asking ourselves “why,” why are we so steadfast on this connection, and why does it not satisfy us? If this relationship was meant to be/ healthy/ supportive, wouldn’t we feel a sense of contentment instead of pacification?

Tiffany’s choice of filling in the “blank” with the word Lust was one that surprised me. Lust has always been seen as sinful and passionate, longing and desirable, a root of temptation and impulsive word to me. However, once Tiffany started explaining her thought process I understood why such a passion driven word was needed in relation to ourselves.
