This project has been in development since the 2020-21 academic year, which was the 50th anniversary of The Black Voice’s founding at UW-Madison. While the organization has not been active for all 50 of those years, this documentary commemorates this milestone through interview with Black Voice members current and past.

Following the screening, there will be a brief discussion with the film’s director, Nile Lansana, and other TBV members and alum. Refreshments will also be provided. Details will be announced about a virtual screening of the documentary for those who are unable to attend in person.
